5.) Why be kosher unless you are Jewish?
4.) Universalism is doesn’t make sense.
3.) One can preach the Gospel AND help people.
2.) Didn’t the Methodist try the social gospel and become irrelevant?
And the top reason why it would be better to be attacked by a pit bull than be emergent is…
1.) Jesus is a better savior than any Rabbi or other “deity”.
Additional reason that was a comment on my FB status: You can see the damage from the pit bull.
And those are the reasons why a person shouldn’t be emergent. The end.
How can you say that the Methodist church is not relevant?
Secondly, how can you compare the emergent church to the Methodist church? They are totally different!!!

Well thanks for commenting missionallyminded. However you are wrong, the Methodist church is not relevant by any stretch of the imagination. And yes the emergent church is becoming and will become just as irrelevant as the mainline churches like the Methodist church has become.

Any church that is spreading the love and word of Jesus is relevant. Therefore, the Methodist church is relevant without any stretch of the imagination. Maybe you should spend a little more time focusing on loving people different than yourself, than condemning and disrespecting.You’re not going to reach anyone with arrogance and pride. I’d expect more out of you, Mike.

First Jay, I am sorry that you expect more out of me, especially since you don’t know me. Secondly as a whole the Methodist church in not relevant. As a whole it is on a decline and has moved to a social gospel(which has no true hope). Oh yeah, sorry that my mocking of people makes you mad, will you ever forgive me.
